Bernie and Di ('dee') Weston are the owner/operators of EarthTree, LLC based in Havana, Florida. Bernie is from Winter Haven, Florida and moved to Tallahassee to attend Florida State University. He owned and operated a very successful Electrical Contracting business for over 20 years. He retired in 2007 and became more interested in the arts and crafts industry. He has always been an artist using various media including pen and ink, pencil, acrylic paint, and photography. He recently became interested in pyrography (wood burning) and enjoys it very much, as shown by his attention to detail on the pictures he has done. Bernie also enjoys outdoor activities, including hiking and fishing. Di grew up in Tallahassee, Florida. She attended Florida State University and Florida A & M University. Her mother taught her hand-craft skills at an early age, including knitting, crocheting, and sewing. She grew up making most of her clothes. Di worked for the State of Florida for over 36 years and retired in January 2017. Di began making stuffed animals in 2005 as 'stress relief'. When they started taking up most of one room in the house she decided to become active in the arts and crafts market, joining a local arts and crafts group. Di also enjoys the outdoors, including hiking, fishing, running, and gardening. We spend time, as weather permits, in our new fishing kayaks on local lakes. Working in the yard and our arts/crafts take up the time not conducive to kayaking. We live on almost 10 acres with 3 dog, 5 cats, and various wildlife that wander thru the yard.
